well okay then...

seriously we got it coming from all sides!  we live in a mobile home.  no, it's not in a park thankyouverymuch!  I'm much too sophisticated for that (stop laughing this instant!).  hubby being the awesome man that he is pulled the "skirting" down to take a look at the a/c duct work cause we think we might just have a leak (booo, hisss).  well, while he was down there he realized that our house is not set right.  the shims are out from most of the supports.  okay, for those of you that do not dwell in the mobile home lifestyle... a mobile home is like a shoebox, right?  well, pretend that under that shoebox is a support grid type thingie.  then stack up blocks to the support type thingie.  you're loving my technical terms, I can tell!  well, since the ground is not totally level and blocks are all one size, you end up having to put shims in to make up the space between the top block and the beam it's supposed to be supporting.  now you're wondering why this might be such a big deal, right?  well, think of it like this...  back to the shoebox m'kay?  stay with me...  I know what I'm talking about!  or not but seriously, stick with me.   so you have this shoebox on the grid thingie.  well, you have it supported on some places but not others so it's not level.  now put heavy things in there.  things that don't move.  you know, like a couch, bed, fridge and the like.  now put in things that do move.  mice would work!  it is a shoebox afterall.  so you have this heavy stuff and this moving stuff on an uneven and slightly shifting floor.  it's not good, not good at all.  then factor in the whole living in Florida thing and the fact that Hurricane season starts on the 1st.  yeah...  not good.  not good.  so we now have to get that taken care of.  it's a really good thing my hubby can do just about anything.  he's out there now, in the dark working on it.  he's got dedication.
not my actual house but gives an idea.

wanna know how we are affording these fixes?  well, some of it is coming from my fave GPT site for > free gift cards < , InstaGC.  you will never know how much I love that site.  I have already made more than $600 this year alone!  That's with having a hard end of pregnancy, baby in the Nicu then tending a newborn.  yeah, it's that good!  it's good, it's good!  you gotta check it out if you haven't already.

where have I been....

yeah, so I let this blog fall to the wayside in a big way.  funny thing is that I thought about it just about daily but with all the stress of my normal day to day life plus the added stress of growing another human being it has been rather hard to want to do this.  I've been rather focused on my GPT sites as well because well, we need money.  so that's where I've been.  just busy earning money on various GPT sites so that we can afford a decent if modest holiday for the minions as well as pay some bills and get the needed gear for a new baby.  oh speaking of baby, I'm 20 weeks now and will find out the gender in a few days so long as the bean cooperates when I have the sonogram.

so since I've been so into my sites lately, allow me to share about the one that I've been most focused on.  it's called instaGC and it's just like it says, instant gift cards!  you complete offers , watch videos and the like and when you're ready to cash out, you get the code for your gift card instantly!  how cool is that?   they have so many choices too!  from amazon to walmart and starbucks as well as several game related options.  I have only cashed out for amazon or walmart because those fill needs I have but the choice of what of you get is all yours!  check it out, complete offers and get the card of your choice!  they have weekly and monthly offer and referral contests.  I actually got second in the offer contest a couple weeks ago.  it was so exciting!

the picture up above shows cashouts for the month.  and the one to the side here is from me winning second place in the offer contest.  yes, I won 1,000 points which is equal to $10.00!  yes, I got an extra $10 just because I was blessed enough to have completed that many offers in one week.  so what are you waiting on?  come join me and see how quickly you can get to earning your free gift cards.

International talk like a Pirate day!

ah, it's International Talk like a Pirate day again!  yes, that annoyingly fun day where people make them sound even sillier than normal by trying to talk like a pirate even though let's be honest, we don't really know what a Pirate would have sounded like!  all we have to go on is what was shown to us first in B movies.

apparently in honor of that day, Swagbucks has decided to do a Swag Code Hunt! there's a map in the blog to help you find your codes.  ALSO they have made it Mega Swag Booty Day too!  that means it's MEGA wins!  I got an 11 early this morning and I saw lots of megas being won too!  so today is the best kind of day to be active with Swagbucks!  the first code is already out so get your hunting pants on and check that map!

GPT funny

so GiftHulk posted this picture earlier today on facebook.  I thought it was pretty awesome and wanted to share it!

This sums up being a GPT aka Reward Site user pretty well.  if you're not using a GPT, why on earth not?  it's money just from doing things you do anyway.  why not try out GiftHulk?  it's pretty easy and has a cool treasure box.  I like the treasure box.  the treasure box was actually enough to convince my hubby to join too.  yes, he's easily amused.

caffeine, no computer & a swagbucks code extravaganza

see, when I get going...  you can blame that right there!  that's the chemical make-up of caffeine :-)

so, I am out a computer for a little while.  the extra one is in our bedroom so I can't spend too much time on it as I have many minions to tend to.  so I will be more scarce than normal sad to say.  but I will try to use my time to brainstorm and write things down (with a pen even!) so when I get my comp back to running right I am ready!  I think I may be able to convince hubby to let me in here some before he starts gaming at night too so there's always that!  but til then I will have a really clean house lol.

also today is a swagbucks code extravaganza!  so be on the lookout for them.

E F G is easy for me!

okay, so I have been my slacking self.  again, I will remind you that I've been sick!  so there :-p

anyways, here comes E, F and G which works out perfectly together if you're asking me.  since this happens to be my blog, I guess if you're reading this, you kinda are.

E is for Earning and Easy
F is for FREE
G is for Giftcards

yep, they make a nice little sentence and describe what it is I do while online most of the time.  I am easily earning free giftcards.  not all of what I get is in giftcard form though.  I do also get cash sent to paypal and there are a couple of sites I use that send the money to a card so in a sense it's a giftCARD right?

anyways, I use many sites as I have mentioned before (and as can be seen by browsing my sidebar).  right now my go-to sites are Swagbucks (my first love) where I earn about $50 - $75 a month at present, Calyp where this past month I made about $35 (I'd recommend this to anyone with a few minutes a day on their hands and a decent network -fb, twitter, linkedin), SuperPoints where I make maybe $10 a month, sure not the greatest but it's steady and with a few referrals could be pretty epic, Jingit is an easy $10 or more a week for watching commercials and lastly Share Magnet where I am making a few dollars every few days just by posting ads to my twitter and occasionally my FB account (this one works better with a larger following as it pays per click).  the only sites I have right now with active referrals is SuperPoints but I only have two and they're only quasiactive and I am still able to make over $100 a month between all my sites.

so, what is that I do with all these sites to get all this?  well, I do searches (swagbucks, irazoo, bing and gift hulk).  I watch videos (jingit, swagbucks, irazoo, gift hulk and superpoints).  I play games (swagbucks, irazoo).  I find codes (swagbucks, irazoo and gift hulk).  I post ads to my twitter account (calyp and share magnet).  I click a button (superpoints).  I check my email (superpoints).  I use coupons (swagbucks).  these things are all things I would do anyways, well, except the codes.  I'm even teaching my hubby how to use some of them since calyp, jingit, swagbucks and irazoo all allow you to have more than one account per household.  irazoo said you each need your own computer but the others haven't said it matters though hubby and I do have separate computers so we keep our stuff separate.  I never let him log into anything on my computer and I don't log into anything on his.  the only thing we share is my kindle fire.  I sometimes use it to log into swagbucks and I also let him use it to run the sbtv mobile app.

honestly, who couldn't use a little extra money each month?  you're online anyways, why not use a portion of that time to pay you?  how much is your internet bill?  yeah, you can most likely make that each month just by using a couple of these sites.  so, are you ready to join me in EASILY EARNING FREE GIFTCARDS yet?  why not?  what are waiting on?  it really doesn't cost you a thing to give it a try.  you only stand to gain from it!  so hop on over to the sites (links above are my referral links which I would greatly appreciate your using) and sign up and start making some money!  you know you want to <3

the pic right there shows when Swagbucks hit 1 million FB likes.  how is that for proof of it being legit and worth your time?  so stop thinking and get to it!

if you have any questions, no matter how small, feel free to ask.  I LOVE helping people with the sites and easily earning free giftcards.  even if you're not my referral, I will still give you all the help I possibly can, so ask me, I gotcha covered.

popularity pays!

we all know that I like to make money while being online, right?  well, I have decided to share a bit about one of those sites that brings in extra money for me.  that site is Calyp.
now to explain the blog title.  they used to pay you per click on your ads.  due to abusive practices, they have changed it to now they pay you to endorse the ads.  how much you get paid depends on your "reach" or how popular you are.  wow, I think I just lost an IQ point there and went back to high school.  anyways, that's how they pay you.  if you have less than 500 friends/followers/connections then you get a piddly 20cents per share.  if you have 501 to 2000 then you get 40cents.  next level is 80cents and then there's another level where you get $2 per share!  you get paid once a month on a visa card, around the middle of the month.
you may be asking if it's worth it.  well, I tend to think it is.  I am in the second tier right now where I make 40cents per share.  since I can share 4 ads per day, I can conceivably make about $48 a month for just a few minutes a day.  that is not too bad!  I am pretty close to the third tier.  yep, you just did the math right.  I could make around $96 a month.  this of course depends on ads being available each day.  some days you may not have four new ads to post, so of course there's no money that day or only money for the new ones you post.
now for the realistic cons of the site.  the customer service is pretty lacking.  also they apparently have a rather pathetic knowledge of a calendar.  cause they will tell you that the card load date is the 10th.  that's not the day it's actually loaded onto your card, it's several days later.  but all that aside, I still recommend it for a pretty little chunk of money each month for very little work.
if you don't have the reach, why not get the reach?  get yourself a twitter account and get yourself some followers.  it's easy as pie!  need some help?  just ask and I will do what I can to help you out.  don't miss out on this easy money just for endorsing products.

clicking for pennies

are you a member of superpoints network yet?  if not, you are missing out on free money for the simple act of clicking a button each day.  this is what I did last night...

yep, I cashed out for another $10 in paypal cash!  you're wondering what you have to do to be able to do that, right?  well, it's simple really.  you just click the button and hope you get points from it.  you can earn from no points all the way up to the hundreds (those are rare though).

here's the button...

and here's why I refer to it as the psychedelic button cause this is what it looks like when you spin it...

another cool thing that you can get from superpoints is points in your email!  how cool is that?  yeah baby!  free points just for checking your email...

so, are you ready to join and click that button?  what are you waiting for?  stop missing out and start earning pennies just from clicking a button.  could it get any easier?

upgrade for momma!

for quite some time now, this is how I have been computing.

yes, my little computer sitting right next to the big gaming computer used by my beloved (side note - see that massive monitor, the one on the right?  yeah, I payed for it with money earned from SwagBucks).  no storage space or anything.  it was hard!  now, thank to a neighbor moving, I have been upgraded!  this is my new computing home....

do you see all those shelves?  the door?  the file drawers?  okay, those are pretty much hidden behind my chair.  but they are there.  it's a lot messy right now and, no, I don't plan on keeping my bread up there.  it was a quick move for me.  I had to relocate the piece of furniture that previously held my bread so until I am done organizing it, there's bread on it.  I am dedicating the door to homeschooling.  much better than the diaper box I was using.  yes, I kept all currently being used books and things in a diaper box that I carried around and stuck in odd places cause I had nowhere else to put it.  now, thanks to uber awesome neighbor (who moved away now), I have a place for it all!  my children were quite excited to be able to see the current books we are using and asked for an extra reading from one of them since they could now see it.  now blogging, GPT sites and everything else will be so much more relaxing for me.  I have a real computer home.

where's the computer for hubby you may be wondering...  well, it's still on that table.  he's happy there.  he's just a gamer afterall lol

January wrap-up

so I'm going to round-up my earnings/winnings for the month of January.

SwagBucks - cashed out $100 in amazon gift cards.  5 x $5, 1 x $50 and 1 x $25 while it was on sale.

iRazoo - cashed out $20 in amazon gift cards.

instagc - cashed out $44 in amazon gift cards.

Calyp - $120ish loaded to a card (still waiting on it to load but the money was removed from Calyp this morning so I should have it in a few days *happy dance*

I did use a few other sites this past month but none enough to cash out.  January is generally an off month for me so I am more than pleased with my earnings and interested to see what I can pull off for this month.  there have been some changes to SwagBucks going on that will certainly make earning more difficult but I am hopeful that I can maintain at least $50 a month, meaning I would cash out $25 each month in $5 amazon gift cards and then either wait a month and get a $50 amazon gift card or I would get a $25 to $50 paypal.  if things change enough I will just have to put more energy into the other sites I use.  SwagBucks is my first love but I will break up with them if they do too much craziness.  okay, maybe not break up with them but they would get the silent treatment and take a back seat to the others...

so, there's my month.  I'm ready to get into this month now!  already cashed out for 2 x $5 amazon gift cards with SB.

January 22, 2012

I feel like a winner!

I won 3rd place in a referral contest on instagc which got me 250 points or in gift card amounts that is $2.50!  I got 10 referrals last week.  not too shabby that  I was able to hold onto 3rd considering the top two are obviously bloggers, one of them is a pretty big blogger too.  I am thrilled with it.  I'd like to see if I can swing getting 3rd for the month but I'd need at least 10 more referrals this month.  want to be one of them?  I'd appreciate it!  just click here and sign up!

I also won a comment contest on Facebook for irazoo which got me 250 points!  are you seeing a theme here?  yeah, me too but it's all good!

it may seem like such a small thing but really, being able to win those is absolutely awesome to me.  now back to my regularly scheduled earning and clickings - yeehaw!

some days are better than others in the world of GPT sites

as with everything in life, there are good days and there are bad days.  today is a good day so far in the world of GPT sites for me!  on one site I had a referral win 100 points!  can we say yay?  then on another site I got a new referral and they were racking up points.  I only got a few pennies but that is okay, I am really just glad to see someone else earning!  I also had several offers easily credit me this morning so I was able to cash out $3 in amazon gift cards.  I LOVE the instant cash outs with that site.  instant gratification is fun.

but the best part of today is that on Swag Bucks it's a code extravaganza day!  first one of the year!  I am so stoked!  one code has already come and gone...  now we're chomping the bit waiting on another one.  yes, we get excited over the pennies!  those pennies really add up!

so, if you're reading this... has your day of GPT been a good one?

January 9, 2012

why I use GPTs

so I figured I'd do a blog on using GPT (get paid to) sites.  I use several of them.  I don't use all of them on a daily basis, some I only use a couple times a week but I am a firm believer in every little bit adds up.  basically GPT sites have you do different things and they reward you with virtual currency that can then be exchanged for things like gift cards or items.  the things they have you doing vary from site to site.  some offer lots of things to choose from like searching, offers, tasks and surveys and some are more basic and only have offers and the like.  so I will do a quick run-down on my faves, highlight my fave parts of them and whatnot.

Swag Bucks - this is my first love of GPT sites!  it has more to do than any other site.  it has searching, offers, videos, surveys, tasks, coupons, daily points, codes and games plus shopping options too!  I use this one more than any other site and can make anywhere from $25 to $125  month there.

iRazoo - this one is the most like Swag Bucks.  it doesn't have it all but has a lot of it.  I don't prefer this one though so I basically only do searches and videos there but even at that I am able to pull off at least $5 a month or more, generally more.

ZoomBucks - this one is again, very similar.  I only use this one for the dailies and occasional task.  I still average about $5 paypal a month doing just that.

InstaGC - this one has instant payouts which is really nice and you can cash out at $1 for an amazon gift card!  this site has all offers.

SuperPoints - this one is good if you have referrals...  I don't have referrals.  but it's a button that you push for points plus they have offers and videos too.  if you wanna join, just let me know and I'll get you a token to let you in ^.^

Calyp - I like this one a lot.  I just joined but so far it's pretty awesome!  basically you're endorsing different companies by posting their ads on FB or twitter.  then you get paid when people click on the ads and go on to view the website or whatever associated with it.  once you hit $25 they will send a card that the money gets loaded onto twice a month.  I haven't made it there yet but I'm close!

Mturk aka Amazon Mechanical Turk - this one is tasks, tasks and more tasks!!  I love it!  some of the tasks are so easy and fun to do and they pay out better than other sites in general.   best day ever was around $10 in a couple hours one evening while also doing other things.  this one you can get cash or amazon money.  I go amazon.

HillybillyClickers - this one I don't use much but when I do it's been worth it.  I was able to cash out little over $5 in paypal in november and then just under $5 in december and I only used it a few days a month.  this site is all offers and does really take some getting used to but eh, it pays so that's all that really matters to me.

GoodSearch - this one is not a GPT but I like this one so I'm mentioning it!  it will donate money to your selected charity for searches and shopping done online!  I make sure to search there a few times a day for my charity of choice.

so there's the itty bits on several GPT sites I use.  but here's the real why I use them...  we're broke here!  seriously...  we live in a smaller area where people think that you should fix their car and let them drive it even if they can't pay for it >.<  so, by me doing this we're able to afford things that would have been hard otherwise, like diapers for my 15 month old!  these sites have been the only thing keeping our heads above water the last few months.  is it any wonder I love them!?
